Crooks & Castles are all set for their upcoming exhibition with renowned photojournalist and cultural observer Chi Modu, who is best known for capturing the beginnings of the hip-hop movement as well as being the photographer behind several adverts for brands such as Sony and Paramount. Taking place at Crooks’ Sunset ‘Con.cept’ Shop. The exhibition is due to run from September 10th through to October 10th.

My newest tattoo venture is my version of the laughing buddha: As you can see in the picture, he is repping all the fun things in life like bud and booze and if u look carefully he is waving those panties, ’cause what’s better than bud, booze and women. Anyway, I must admit this has been my most painful tat to date, I mean serious pain people, the stomach is no joke.

Dr. Nancy
A couple of Saturdays ago my boy Infoe hit me up to see if I wanted to come with him to his girlfriend’s brother’s house for the brother’s b-day. I’ve met Foe’s girl’s brother before (Gino) and his girlfriend Estefania, but what I didn’t know and came as a suprise to me was that Estefania’s mother is the famous sexologist from Spanish television, La Doctora Nancy. Yo this lady is the Dr. Ruth of the Hispanic community! I know alot of the DADE readers probably don’t know and don’t care about this, but to me and I’m sure a couple of peeps that have Spanish moms and grandmas, it brings you back to when you would come home to the TV blasting either the Cristina show or Sabado Gigante or in this case the Dr. Nancy show.
So here she is chilling at this party for her daughter’s boyfriend, here I am throwing back the Johnnie Black. We started speaking and she really came across as someone you could tell anything to. She speaks about anal penetration or oral sex as easily as if she was speaking about her church group.
Anyway I thought it was a very cool moment and even cooler when the Dr. got all gansta on me and repped DADE to the fullest, check her out in these pics:
