Duction…A one minute intro of sampling from different sources. When you listen to this album you will not press forward past this intro. I think he uses something from the Hero’s network show. It sets up the album real nicely.

Hang On (Ft. The Astronomical Kid)… I wouldn’t really consider this a hip-hop song. Sha uses a mellow beat to rap over and he does it good! This whole song is a lesson. I don’t need to hear it again, I’ve heard it at least 5 times in the last week.

My Soul…49 seconds into it you will realize why this is at least in my opinion my favorite song on this album.

Blasphemy…Sha let’s us into a conversation he’s having with God and he makes a great point. Damn God! I don’t get it either, that’s why I don’t believe in religion.

Do It For The Doe…I don’t know who produced this but he had to be from Miami. This time that isn’t bad, it’s got that down south knock and Sha teaches us yet another lesson that we didn’t realize we needed to hear.

Move Back (Feat. Freeway and Young Chris and I think produced by Just Blaze). Sounds like Just Blaze, must be Just Blaze. Wait is this my favorite song on the album? Freeway kills this shit! Someone hand this dude a steak…he’s hungry! At 2:35 this beat changes but not for the better. Where does this dude Young Chris come in? Either he doesn’t or he sounds just like Sha.

I Wish I Was You (Feat. Bellringer)…This dude has a real interesting way at looking at not being in love with someone who is in love with you. If you ain’t got the nuts to break up with your girl, play her this song. Shit, she might even feel sorry for you. Sha is a fucking genius!

The Smelly Cat Song…Waaaaaaa. I’m not going to ruin what this song is about. You have to hear this shit. Fucking hilarious! You should be clueless until the second hook of the song…excellent.

What’s Wrong With That? Wake Up The World (Feat. Torae)…Wait is this my favorite song of the album? This album is food for your brain. Torae is one of my favorite rappers (I wish there was a way to say that without sounding corny). I officially want to thank Sha Stimuli for making this album.

Good Day…You will appreciate your shitty life after hearing this song. Sha puts it all in perspective for us here.

I Believe…If Sha was a preacher in Miami he might make this non practicing Argentinean Jew a believer. Sha needs to write a book…dude is wise!

Have You Seen Him?…I was lucky enough to have my pops before he past. Some people aren’t as lucky as I was. This song is for them.

My Girl (Feat. Khaliq)…This one’s for the ladies. I don’t like it. Its the only song on this album I will tell you I don’t really like. Reminds me of something LL Cool J would put out for the radio.

Bucket List…For the first 2 minutes of this song it has Sha spitting over pretty much over just a piano. Not sure if this piano is a sample or someone really playing. I’m sure this is a song already but I’m too burnt to remember. The piano normally shouldn’t work here but it’s fantastic. Sha really doesn’t need auto tune to harmonize.

Sometimes…I wish I knew who produced these tracks. There so complex and different compared to most albums out now. This is good in so many ways.

Follow The Leader…You haven’t heard this song already? It was definitely a reason we have all been patiently waiting for the album to drop. Is this my favorite album on the song?
This album is so complete. I’m buying this CD style instead of digital download because I need to read all the credits on it. It really is that good. I want to go out on a limb here and say that this is one of the best and most important albums in the last couple of years. It informs without sounding preachy and makes you laugh without sounding corny. Do yourself a favor and buy this whole album. It might change your life, it might not. It will definitely get some of those brain cells fired up…and no album has done that to me since I was a lil jit.sha_stimuli-my_soul_to_keepSha Stimuli Feat Freeway \”Move Back\”

KRINK always doing it big!!!
Following his participation in an exhibition at the Vicious Gallery in Hamburg, New York artist KR offers a closer look into the project via a time lapse video. Implementing his signature drip style, KR pours KRINK paint onto the body of a Mini Cooper. For those interested in checking out the car in person, it is now on display at the Vicious Gallery.

Jake Davis gives us a peek into an interview he filmed with the RZA for Supreme. The piece was conducted by Andre Torres of Wax Poetics. Definitely brief but just a taste of a series of shorts.

Quite possibly one of the better matched collaborations in sometime, legendary San Franciscan skater/musician Tommy Guerrero teams up equally respected San Francisco-based Levi’s for a special capsule collection pairing both entities cultural roots. A button-down shirt and denim jean are showcased, each featuring a simple washed colorway with Mexican-inspired details on the jean’s backside and shirt yoke. Additional pieces are soon to follow so stay tuned for a more extensive look.
